As Tata Motors prepares to unveil the much awaited 2023 Tata Nexon and Nexon EV facelifts on September 14, 2023, the automotive industry is ablaze with excitement. These updated Nexon models provide more than just a cosmetic makeover; they have a number of significant technological and aesthetic improvements. Let’s see what these updated models can offer.

Tata Nexon Fresh Look

The Tata Nexon and Nexon EV facelifts will both display notable visual improvements. These include more angular designs, revised grilles (for the Nexon), LED headlights, LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), fashionable alloy wheels, and eye-catching LED taillamps. The Nexon EV will have a unique appearance with blue highlights and noticeable EV badging because it is an electric car.

A Tech-Forward Interior

When you enter the cabin which has been completely refurbished. Tata has put a lot of effort into offering a modernized interior that is jam packed with novel amenities and cutting edge technology. Dual 10.25 inch screen for instruments and entertainment are among the attraction. The steering wheel features modern two spoke design with the Tata emblem illuminated. Faux leather inlays improve the fit and finish overall, giving the space a more upmarket feel.

Wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is provided by the infotainment system, providing easy smartphone integration. Other features include voice-activated electric sunroof, premium 9-speaker JBL audio system, ventilated leatherette front seats, wireless phone charging, and smart linked vehicle technology.

Tata Nexon Fresh Look Safety Upgrades

Tata Motors continues to place a high focus on safety. Six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), three-point seat belts for the backseat occupants, and ISOFIX child seat anchors are all standard equipment on the 2023 Nexon. Tata has included 360-degree cameras, front parking sensors, and a blind-view monitor that warns the driver of potential blind areas during turns to further increase safety and convenience. Additional Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) capabilities are anticipated for the Nexon EV.


A 1.5-liter diesel engine with outputs of 113 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque and a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine with 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque are both available in the Nexon. Both manual and automatic manual transmission (AMT) options will be offered for both engines. For enhanced driving convenience, the turbo-petrol version also has a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Regarding the Nexon EV, particular information about its battery pack and motor has not yet been made public. It will probably still provide customers with a choice between a 30.2 kWh and a 40.5 kWh battery pack. The smaller pack’s stated range is projected to be around 312 kilometers, while the bigger pack’s claimed range is 453 kilometers.
